GED Online
The GED is an exam developed in the United States that is available for all adults who want an equivalent of a high school diploma. It tests general academic skills and core content that are covered in four years of high school. Each year hundreds of thousands of people earn their GED diplomas, which they use to get jobs, earn promotions, or qualify for higher education or training.
The GED is an alternative to a high school diploma. Every year, hundreds of thousands of people just like you earn their General Educational Development (GED) certificate. People drop out of high school for many reasons. You may have had to leave high school to get a job to help take care of your family. Maybe you just didn’t like school, or didn’t think a high school diploma would mean anything – and now you know what it means not to have it. It’s not too late. The GED program provides an opportunity to earn your high school credential outside of school by taking the official GED test at monitored testing centers in your state.
GED Online Class is a perfect solution for students who would like to reach their goal of earning a GED but can’t regularly make it to traditional classes. Although all official testing must be done in an onsite classroom, you can do the rest of your studying on your computer according to your own schedule – day or night!
In order to begin GED Online Class, you must first fill out an online enrollment form. A few days after completing the enrollment form you will receive an email from an online teacher. For your teacher to know what level you should start with, you will be required to take a placement test (called a TABE test) at a local facility. Once your scores are received, you will be emailed a username and password and will be ready to begin studying for your GED test!
